WASHINGTON – Three Democratic senators have filed a lawsuit challenging the appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general. The complaint was filed Monday by Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island.
