Six seal lions shot in Puget Sound since September; Another seven dead from 'acute trauma'

SEATTLE, Wash. – A dead sea lion washed up on shore near Alki beach on the West Seattle shore, one of many spotted recently in the area, and officials are saying that some of the sea lions had been shot. Six adult California sea lions have died from gunshot wounds in the central Puget Sound area since September.
