SPOKANE, Wash. – A Newman Lake man now faces up to nearly 25 years in prison for murder of his girlfriend after changing his plea to guilty on Friday. Nick Holden initially pleaded not guilty to murdering his girlfriend, Tina Stewart, last Thanksgiving but decided to change his plea to guilty and will now face 16-25 years in prison.
