SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Washington State Patrol say a driver is dead and their passenger is in the hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Highway 206 about four miles north of Spokane Saturday morning. Troopers investigating the crash believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The driver who caused the crash has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
