SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Firefighters in Spokane Valley are battling a brush fire in the Mirabeau Park area near the Granite Point Apartments. According to KHQ’s Adam Mayer, the fire is about an acre in size right now, and crews are calling in air support. It is burning behind the apartment complex, east of N. Pines and north of I-90. Residents are being asked to stay away from the area while crews work.
